The boxing day show at the Building put on by Vybz Kartel and his
management team was shut down last night as the authorities ran
in and dismantled the event as they did last week on Thursday at
the same venue.
Reports indicate that the show had too much people trying to attend,
there was a huge line and therefore all the crowd could not be guested
in the Building NiteClub resulting in breaches in hazard and fire safety regulations. Speculations are that Sting promoter Laing had something to do with it.
Sting 27 didn't see an appareance by Bounty Killer and his name was
never mentioned once.Beenie shared the stage with Assassin and they
went from hit to hit together. He complained about not being paid yet,
while on stage performing, reinforcing the rumors of Bounty absence to
be linked to budget reasons as well as for Vybz and Mavado.
Going back to the appering guests at Sting 27 Khago and I-Octane earned
the crowd respect with good performances, mean while Gyptian earned
some clapping but his time on Sting stage was very short.
Few ladies really shined and Lady Saw did a very raw and vintage thing
after missing that stage for several years that will surely be remembered.
Kiprich went on stage with Blak Ryno who dissed his best ex friend from
Gaza Camp Popcaan and AddiJah Palmer.
This Sting editon's is being called a flop also because of the main missing
acts Kartel and Mavado.

Now fully recovered from a motorbike accident that occurred over the Heroes weekend in Kingston, Dancehall recording artist Blak Ryno decided it’s time to unfold a new chapter in his life with the aim of returning to the apex of dancehall. The artist whose given name is Romane Anderson after being summoned to bed rest by his doctors a few weeks ago and forced to postpone his european's tour, used the time and did some career restructuring including a new management team accompanied by a name change. The aka ‘Ryno The Stinger’ which he currently has,it's been truncated to simply ‘Ryno’. From Ryno owns words : “After speaking to my management team the decision was taken to change my name to just Ryno. Right now a music and positivity me a deal with and people ah say the Stinger thing a beat me, originally me use the name because my friend dem use to say me lyrics dem a sting, but is like the streets have a different meaning for the word, so since a music me a pree me just a try shed anything that not positive from around me.” When asked if people would like the new name he added, “Well them always a call me Ryno from long time so is not even nothing new but if them want to call me Blak Ryno same way that cool, but a just Ryno me a work wid from now”. Meanwhile, with the New Year fast approaching the ‘Wine N Dip’ singer has been booked for a number of shows in the Bahamas, Dominica and other Caribbean territories ahead of his confirmed appearance on the greatest one night show on earth ‘Sting’ on December 26th at Jam World, Portmore, St. Catherine. Ryno is also gearing to shoot another videofor his latest collaborative effort titled‘Seh Dem A Friend’ with new protégé Kaliba and is also featured on hitmakers Notice Production ‘Red N Black’ compilation with a track entitled ‘Money Me A Pree’.

The DeeJay, whose real name is Romane Anderson , is
scheduled to soon tour Europe.
After beingsigned to Portmore Empire since January 2007
andreleasing many hits and bangers, "Informa","Tell U
about we","I want to be so rich","Shot a Buss","Hate We"
and many others, he started his solo career andleft the
Empire during February 2010, following Lisa Hype and
Gaza Kym earlier departures.The name Blak Ryno was
given to him by his friends when he used to play football. He went thru some intense stuff this yearbeside producing and releasing mad chunes and touring . It still up to debate if his house was fire bombed, in his native
Waterford Portmore ,Kingston,or there was an eletrical
problem. He got arrested and release on bail earlier this
year and recently had a confrontation in Kingston in a
busy Mall with Corey Todd.
He still keep in touch with a lot of his Gaza fellows
and stays strong &positive .Is the Gaza Youth!
He never stops releasing good songs and is most known for
his track "Bike Back" on Russiam's Strip Club Riddim and
"Can I" on Movie Star Riddim.
After becaming a free agent he changed his name to
Ryno Di Stinger and joined forces with Kym to form their
own crew "The Garrison".
Ryno had recently a motorbike incident,got knocked off his
motorbike, and he injured his head in Waltham park Road,
Kingston,over the Heroes Weekend.
Lucklythe"See You Again"singer is reported feeling better
and also expected to make a full recovery.
A lot of events are coming up for him.
He's scheduledfor the upcoming holiday season inBarbados
andGrand Cayman and also about to visit Europe around
February 2011 with an official tour that will be blessing his
European fans across Uk, Switzerland, Netherland, France,
Germany and also Italy for a 3 weeks period.
He's also having two Music Videos in heavy rotationright
now,"Wine and Dip" and "Come A Mi Yard"and he's not
trying to slow down so he'sready to shoot a new video,
"Shadez" , part of "The Split Personality Compilation" which
isanother of his current hit, featuring Seanizzle,who is also
the producer of the track.
