*Hold Yuh.Again*

Hold Yuh, Gyptian international reggae hit, which has been released  by
VP Records, is currently charting on iTunes top-10 reggae singles  charts.
It is # 3 in France, # 3 in Canada, # 4 in Denmark,# 8 in Switzerland  and
# 9 in the US. Gyptian's album, titled  as the single,is #6 on reggae Album
chart  (Billboard). It's impossible to ignore the blast the song had andBill
board released a statement saying:"Not since 2003 a locally based reggae
artist had that level of chart success".In  October  Gyptian won the MOBO
Award, in England, for Best Reggae Act. In November he  won  Soul Train
Music Awards for Best Reggae Act.
The single Hold Yuh resurrected Gyptian career that started about 5 years
ago with his debut hit Serious Times.Mama Don't Cry,I Can Feel Your Pain
and Beautiful Lady.Hold Yuh however,is his first global hit which reaches
the mainstream music markets. Gyptian, contrary of many other dancehall
artists, still owns a valid Us Visa and so he was able to support the single's
success with a series of concerts in America that started last July.
Maybe not all of you know that the faamous hit received  complaints based
on  The BCJ Monitoring & Compliance Reports  song   would  have angered
some  listeners for  atriple play on words that likens  a hug  to  a sexual act.
Gyptian, was raised in  StAndrew by his Christian mother&Rastafari father. Gyptian, real name Windel Beneto Edwards, often  wrapped  shirts around
his head in the style of an Egyptian pharaoh, which inspired his  aka name.
He showcased his talent by singing at his mother's Sunday morning church services and at the Saturday night dances promoted by his father who used
to own   Sugar  Stone  Sound System. Some of my Fav Hold Yuh Remix here.
