*Alborosie America*

How is War Economy working For U? They can  fool a lot of people but they will never fool a Rasta!
Alborosie, real name Alberto, from Italy, and  MissGaza go way back! We both lived closed in North Italy, Europe, and had fun together with music stuff, still, back then. I remember booking shows for his first band Reggae National Tickets and DeeJaying  vinyls as an opening act before his band shows. A lot of time went by. I remember when Claudio Ongaro, aka Tesura, a sort of italian Don Taylor for the european and italian scene, signed up Reggae National Tickets from Bergamo city to play at SunSplash in Mobay. I think it was before 2000 and I think is been more then 10 years ago that Alborosie became a Kingston's resident and started his solo career. He now established himself as a International Reggae /Dancehall artist in the world's scene and had several popular hits in billboards and charts. His style is nice, sweet, he keeps it real all the time. He's very respected as a producer too and worked with some of  the biggest names in the Reggae Industry but he still keeps his humble and positive style going, like many years ago. He's Rasta. Alborosie is good people and his music is good, BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE U FROM BUT IT MATTERS WHAT U CARRY INSIDE! As MissGaza, he doesn 't like and support wars and which better occasion for you guys to get familiar with his work if not with this song where he's asking America to bring home his soldiers! To move OUT of Africa ( and the Middle East ). This is not one of his most  popular songs and is not recent but still I like it and feel the need to share and I subscribe his words in times like this!Alborosie had more popular songs out there , so I'm including few more above, he has a huge following all over Europe and he's touring  a lot.Currently touring Europe, @ Kammgarn in Schaffhausen Switzerland. Next stop, Italy , but also loved and respected in Usa and Jamaica where he gets a lot of airplays. He came out for  Greensleeves Records  which already released records for Yellow Man, Mad Cobra,Shabba Ranks, Gregory Isaacs, Sizzla,Elephant Man, Vybz Kartel and many others. Alberto started his own Recording Label called Forward Records. Some of his biggest hits are "Rastafari Anthem", "Kingston Town", and "Call Up Jah"Respect Alberto! His latest Album is called "2 times Revolution".Hope to catch U again soon! Thanx for the good chunes!Bless Freedom Fighters!

*One For All! Deejays For Japan*

One For All is the name of a collective track put together by almost 30 deejays. A tribute single to help Japan in this hard horrible time.If you think Japan is too faraway from where ever you live, think again. Everything is connected, is one planet and we are one people. The earthquake and the tsunami killed thousand of people and left the coast of Japan in a surreal state of new prehistory with tsunami aggravating things and damaging some nuclear plant which resulted in explosions at four of six reactor units releasing toxic radiation into the atmosphere. Japan called the triple disaster its worst crisis since World War II.Japan loves reggae and dancehall and it's time to love back and help Japan! The Japan's earthquake 9.0 affects every aspect of life and so also music, record releases, tours are all being cancelled or suspended right now. Technology also is and will be affected. A lot of our computers components are made in Japan and so Apple already announced set back on the Ipad 2 production since factory is in Japan. As well as Toshiba and others car company have their factories closed and production suspended. Water and food situation are also critical and people is really relying on where the wind blow day by day .Even a lot of schools are closed transformed in dormitory. While i'm writing this situation got even more critical!

JAPAN STAY STRONG! CHARITY CONCERTS ARE STARTING ALL OVER LIKE THIS WEEKEND IN NEW YORK BY WORLD WIDE FAMOUS JAPANESE SOUND SYSTEM MIGHTY CROWN .AND HOPEFULLY SOON IN MIAMI TOO AS WELL AS ALL OVER DI WORLD

USA: Text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 Ireland: Text REDCROSS to 57500 to donate €5 Canada: Text REDCROSS to 30333 to donate $10

*Shawn Storm News*

Shawn Storm, Portmore Empire's Artist, spent 10 days at Constant Spring Police Station, downtown Kingston, and his recent closest contact with that envirment inspired him to write several new songs. The story. Shawn Storm told Star that police arrested him for jumping out a car with a weapon and rubbing a vendor and then running away. He read the story on The Star  newspaper where they were saying police wanted him to turn in so he went to police station where is being held for ten days with no case or any real formal charges against him so Court and Judge ordered his immediate release.Luckly the incident didn' t have any repercussion on his career and he's actually coming out with mad new songs on new riddims. Here some of his new releases.Cheat Again on the Real Spazzie rhythm, Gal Yuh Nuh Beg on Macho Kids Get Real rhythm and Dem Badmind, Seh She Caan Get EnoughTell Everybody and Gal Waan Roll With Me all being done for producer Notnice.

*Alley Cat New Album Release Party “Dancehall Knowledge Vol. 2”*

Imperial Productions is proud to present the brand new release of “Dancehall Knowledge Vol. 2” from reggae artist Alley Cat. Tuesday, March 22 marks the day that the music industry will be re-introduced to the sounds of an artist that has no limit. South Florida has been chosen to be the place of celebration for the release with a star-studded launch party on April 16, 2011 inside Ft. Lauderdale’s exquisite Caribbean venue BLU LAGOON’S. ( 7529 West Oakland Park Blvd Lauderhill, FL 33319)
The prolific and knowledgeable message that Alley Cat portrays on this album is sure to open up the minds of the masses, and would make anyone seriously think about life and themselves. Alley Cat produced and wrote the entire album under his Imperial Productions label, and maintained his edgy lyrics and style. But found a way to fuse various types of elements and created an album that surpassed the title of just another Dancehall album. From beginning to end "Dancehall Knowledge" transitions from One Drop Reggae, to Pop music, then to R&B music, and back to Dancehall music.
The album is jammed pack with educational and uplifting topics that are relevant in today’s world. Track such as “The Big Picture” highlights the individuals that will deliberately hold you back from progressing in life, and Alley Cat also talks about how to avoid them. “We Won’t Forget You” is a song that makes you happy and sad at the same time, it commemorates the friends & family that has passed away and encourages people to celebrate their loved one’s life. And the ladies won’t have to look too far to find the Alley Cat they've grown to love, “Bruck Out” is the ultimate song for a woman with high self-esteem and she knows she is the best at what she does. Carribbean News Weekly said, "Alley Cat has a potential smash hit on his new album with the featured single "Bruck Out." His most personal song on this record is “Nevaeh,” which reflects the love that Alley Cat has for his daughter and wanted to make a song that represented all the daughters around the world. As an artistAlley Cat recognizes the changes that’s taking place in Caribbean music and wants his fans to get what they all been waiting for.

About Alley Cat

Alley Cat is not your average Dancehall artist, nor should he be considered as only a “Dancehall” artists. The one word used to best describe this Producer/ Songwriter/ Artist is, diversity, because he can transition in to an R&B artist, a Roots/Reggae artist, or a Dancehall artist in a split second, and makes each beat on his own. He’s best known for some of his earlier work he did in the late 90’s early 2000’s. His journey goes far, but it all began on the by ways and side streets of Kingston. From childhood, Alley Cat would prowl the inner city, familiarizing himself with the lanes and back alleys, thus earning his name. The journey would continue through the classrooms at Kingston College, and the gauntlet of Tivoli Courts’ "Sideline" (a Gong type show) and then through the gates of Penthouse Studio.Alley Cat went on to have several hit singles and has been featured on tracks with some of Reggae's best artists. As a producer Alley Cat has made beats for artists such as, Movado, Monster Empire, Harry Toddler, Crisintie, Queen Ifrica, Tony Rebel, Lutan Fiyah, Mitch, Terry Ganzie , Fiona and Gentleman from Germany. Alley Cat has been on a hiatus for some time, but he’s ready to re-claim his spot, and “Dancehall Knowledge Vol. 2” will make that goal easy to accomplish.
